My question is what do you all really know about McCain and Obama?
I have done my homework and I disagree with all of you...
Just a thought~

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone has their own reasons for who they support.

Yeah but what I've noticed is a lot of people pay a lot of attention to the media... 89% of the media is liberal and focuses on the democratic point of view...
And believe me I can go on for hours of how Bush is not a bad guy and how he was okay as Prez...
The thing is McCain isn't a bush... People think he is cuz he's Republican, and the thing is Todays Republicans have the views of Yesterdays Democrats. and todays Democrats are... Weird...
The thing is McCain does support the war, but his views on America are high. He knows our economy is down and he has good views on gay merrage and border control... And believe me I think Obama is a good guy but right now I think McCain is the right coice and I think Obama might get assasinated if he's elected...
And if he is our county will only go back 30+ years...
And Palin is a WONDERFUL person. I like her more that McCain...
So I fully support the McCain campaign cuz I did my homework on both sides and when I see people say: "Obama cuz McCain is Bush" it's wrong...
I was just wondering what your sources were cuz either people just follow their parents without their own opinion or they listen to the liberal media...
Go Fox news... XD

Well i never said Bush was a bad president. HE did pretty good and we all know that. Sides it wasent his fault we went to war. We pretty much forced him to take us to war cause of 9-11 so its not his fault
Yea obama would get shot if he was elected, thats what my friends say everyday.
But i personnaly dont approve of the war. Although im not completely sure of picking obama now after reading more into him. Not like it matters cause im 15, but i think i prefer obama this time around. But i need to read a lil more into it.

Honestly, the main reason I like Obama is becuase it seems like he supports the middle class more than McCain does. Honestly, the war is important, but it's not my main factor. As long as the war is ended in a responsible manner, I don't care how they do it. The thing is, though, I live with my mother, and she's a single parent, and can barely keep us supported as it is. It seems that John McCain supports the wealthy more than he does the middle class and lower, and, personally, I think we really need someone who cares about the middle class, because bush also seems to favor the wealthy. But, honestly, i'm only 16, soon to be 17, so who knows, I may be the wrong one. Anyway, I wasn't too happy with the canidates, I don't think that many people were. My mom doesn't like Obama much becuase of some things she read, like something that said he won't salute the american flag or something, I don't remember it too well,, it was a while ago. Anyway, my view on that is that people are too wrapped up in tradition. An analogy my 9th grade American Government teacher gave seems to sum up my views on it quite well. It's like having a burning house and saving a picture of your child instead of saving your actual child, it's just mere symbolism. I'm not saying we shouldn't be patriotic or just forget about that stuff, but I think that some people take traditions like that too seriously.

The media is unfair, only Rep and Dem get any screen time. And you can't say they are either or, because both are too blame because they don't allow anyone else to get any say in edge wise. My major problem with the rep party falls in with Bush, no matter what any one says, he didn't win the popular vote, and that isn't what democracy is, not in the slightest. Screw the electoral College, it was bull to begin with, it was designed basically for having another King not to go against the American public at large like this. To me, such a low blow like that from any party, be it dem or rep, isn't worth my time to investigate any one they support, be it Jesus himself.
