Eriko sat in a large meadow surrounded by the trees of forests of out Rukongai. He'd asked his Captain to come to this meadow to train with him. The paperwork for the day was already completed and there was nothing else to be taken care of. They had nothing else to do for the day. Eriko figured it might be a good idea to spar and suggested that the Captain meet him here in this meadow. That was an hour ago.
Eriko sat against a tree meditating and training his focus. He'd come to this meadow every so often to train or relax. He found it one day while he was doing a patrol and has known of the place ever since. It was a was from the seireitei and was fairly quiet. Enough to be able to train peacefully and not be bothered by the noice in town.

soi fong was walking around the meadow looking for her sparring partner.and third seated shinigami eriko katsuragi. she had already completed her paperwork. thanks to eriko. and thanks ot one of her fellow captains. yui doing most of her paperwork. she arrived to see him in complete focus. she was glad to have a person like him in her division. she would give him vice. but he would always decline the offer. she nevever knew why. she then went over and poked him."im here now". she said looking at him ready for a battle.

Eriko opened one of his eyes to look up and see his captain staring at him. "Good to see you." Eriko stood up and stretched to get the stiffness out of his muscles. One hour of of meditating can cause your limbs to fall asleep. "Just let me warm up a little." He began movings arms around. "Don't want to pull something while training right?" He started stretching his legs finally and cracked his neck, and knuckles. "I'm ready. I figured we'd start with a little hand to hand combat."

soi fong looked at him.she was surpised that he had so much work ethic for his postion.so she decided to make a challenge to him."ok if were going to have a sparring match we should make it a little bit more interesting. if i win i will make you my vice captain. no questions asked. and if i lose. well you decide on what happens. now get ready i wont go easy on you.". she then got into a fighting stance after a few stretches herself.

"Eh, I guess I would but, the thing is, I told you already that I didn't want the position. That little bet would suck for me. More paperwork, less freedom. The way I see it, I win, I have to become an office floaky." Eriko began cracking his knuckles. "As I've said before, office work is not my thing. If I were to take you up on that, I'd be a hypocrite. However, there is one way we can do this." Eriko had a smile on his face. "If I lose, then I'll take the position of your Lieutenant. If I win, you'll owe me favor. How does that sound Captain?"
