Background: Mother of Matthew Bourgoine she was Married to a Man named Curtis for about 14 years when she disappeared. Matthew was 7 when she left. Barbara is a vampire and is one of the strongest left alive. She is part of the Vampire Council that holds 5 Members. Barbara is one of them.
Barbara was born hundreds of years ago in Ireland and was of a poor faimly. She worked to make a living and always had a pure heart. Her pure heart is what made her a different kind of Vampire, as she was the only one with a pure heart, and when Matthew was born, Matthew got the same heart.
Barbara met Curtis in Dubland and they fell in love. When the got married Barbara went with Curtis to Karakura town for Military affairs. Matthew grew up in Japan where he met Mizore and so on. When Barbara saw that Matthew and Mizore were together, she knew Matthew would be fine, as the legendary blood moon was rising with Matthew. Barbara then left to go to the council.
Matthew and Barbara haven't seen eachother in 17 years...
But will see eachother again real soon...
Personality: She is sweet and fair. She brings pity to the weak and only attacks the corrupt. She is always open to many things and is fair to all. She does not discriminate, but if something needs a rude opinion, she'll give it. She trusts her son, and will defend him with her life.
She fends for everyone in the council, and that is why she was given the position by the former member. When he stood down, he chose her because she knew that she'd fight injustice and corruption, giving the Vampires good names.

Dislikes: Corruption, Unjustice, anything behind the back.
Fear: Losing her son...
Powers: As one of the ultimate Vampires alive, she holds a golden heart and is a unique vampire...
When she uses her power, she is granted a halo, which is un heard of for an un-holy creature such as a vampire. She has a Sword and Sheild she can summon and use them telepathically.
Her heart grants her holy power and she can make several blasts.
Her unknown speed and overpowering strength, makes her one of the legenday living vampires left alive...
