THE BASICS
Name: Dongmei Tsukiko *Winter Moon Plum Blossom*
Nickname/Alias: Ume *Plum Blossom*
Age: Never ask a lady her age
Class: Goddess of Darkness
Gender: Female
Height: 5’2
Weight: 130
Visual Appearence:
Tsukiko does not vary from her perfection in that she is beautiful. With a very attractive face, that bears a thin heart shape and sports dark beautiful black eyes. From her figure she looks to be doing well for herself, she is of average height at around 5'2 and does not look very strong but is obvious that is never really a sign of anything with any spiritual creature. She is young looking but not overly so having the appearance of at least 26 and so has a trim figure with mild curvature and a moderate bust. She has long deep pink almost purple hair that she usually keeps in a neat ponytail with a little hair dropping to the side framing her face, she has equally honey yellow eyes complimenting her tone.
Tsukiko for all her insanity likes to look nice and in her own little way considers herself the priestess of the Gods. As such, she has an extremely elegant dress style for someone concerned only with malice and chaos. She sports an ornate crown directly above her forehead, which hangs slightly but is kept up by strings of gold fabric that lace through her hair and tie around her ponytail in the back, the crown has a black onyx jewel in the center of a dull silver amulet that matches her bow. She has a two piece dress, the black goes around her shoulders giving her the appearance that she is always ready for battle, the second piece stretches under her uniform and goes down to her knees and is held together by the large bow, her adjutant symbol is attached to her left side. Her left leg is bare while she wears a long fishnet stocking over her right leg and she wears sandals on both feet, which are adorned with onyx gems but sports the flat black espadrilles on the bottom of her feet that allow her jewelry to be seen but give her something to walk on.
Personality: Tsukiko’s most prominent trait is that fact that she is unbelievably vain. She holds great pride in her own physical appearance, and is known to stare at her own reflection for hours, obsessing over herself constantly. She thinks, and often states, that everyone should be gorgeous both on the inside and outside; She often states several times a day just how beautiful she is, yet somehow she manages to sway others into believing it as well. Tsukiko relishes in the affection or compliments of others, often begging to hear several times a day just how beautiful she is.
She does not surround herself in friends, but admirers, as she calls them. For the most part, she feels that the lives of others are dispensable; except those that constantly remind her, and tends to only keep people that can benefit her in some way nearby. She can be unintentionally insulting to those around her because she speaks her mind without hesitation, and often, most of her thoughts of a person, good or bad, are announced to them within moments of meeting them, and will even remind people several times of their flaws.
Tsukiko’s favorite pastime is reading, poetry in particular. She feels that novels are too long to be beautiful, and she wishes to read only words that appeal to her personally. She seeks solitude when she reads to avoid the pressures of her status.
Though Tsukiko is delicate, her spirit is strong, and she is unafraid of most things (other than death itself). She is quite the fierce fighter, severely lacking in mercy or forgiveness. She is wrathful and devious, the perfect psychologist. She pinpoints very quickly the weakest points in a person's heart, and she will physically and verbally attack them relentlessly until they are dead, or she is defeated. She toys with her prey as a cat would an ant, never beginning with her strongest attacks, rather she allows her victims to think they have some hope before she destroys them. She loves it most when she sees the light of realization in their eyes, instant when true fear and hopelessness grips them. Her physical elegance contrasts her love of carnage; she is not a wilting flower, but rather a beautiful predator, drawn constantly to the thrill of the hunt, the taste of victory. She is known for unprovoked and soothing acts of sympathy and compassion, but this is all a lie, she does it for her own enjoyment; helping the downtrodden makes her feel like a angel of mercy and a bringer of hope, all the while entertaining her. It is said when she is not fawning over herself in a mirror, she can be found creating more and more pawns for her own amusement.
Despite this, she very gracefully accepts defeat when she is bested: she is not the type to die trying, or to push herself when all hope is lost. To her, fighting is a game that only she may win; never would she give her life for any cause, no matter how great; rather she would wait for the perfect moment to seek out her vengeance, using others, fawning over details, in the proper moment she is like a snake, ready and willing to wait for her prey to come to her. She will retreat into the darkest darks of reality the very moment she realizes she cannot win.
As a leader she is incredibly unobservant and neglectful, in most sense of the word she isn’t a leader, she much prefers to be a follower of sorts, given a task to be carried out as she see’s fit. Her true strength lies in being a follower, she can do amazing things as a follower, take care of little things, work miracles but she needs that security, that feeling in knowing that behind her a competent leader is planning and thinking as well.
BACKGROUND
Fighting Style/Abilities: Tsukiko is known for using her bow, be it arrows of an extremely strong and durable metal, (think zanpakuto metal) or focusing her spirit energy into arrows of darkness that are shot at the opponent. Her keen sight and un-natural ability to sense movement allow her to quickly analyze her opponent’s moves and give her incredible accuracy. Along with being incredibly accurate and strong wielding nothing but arrows, Tsukiko has the uncanny ability to use her body to whip sharpened objects around as if it is no one’s business. Outside of simply throwing her arrows at weaker opponents, she uses small needles, about the size of a finger to throw at people, and up to 7 inches in extreme cases, she can even fire hundreds of the small needles at one time, or fire the larger needles the next. Outside of her archery and throwing needles, Tsukiko is skilling in using her enormous bow as a weapon, blunt and sturdy it makes a wonderful blasting mechanism for blunt force trauma.
Powers: Tsukiko is the goddess of darkness, but she uses her power like a heavy burden, never using more than necessary, but also never using it out of context. To put it bluntly, Tsukiko likes to have fun with her power, but always pays a heavy price to do so. Tsukiko powers stems from darkness, both of shadows and night, but also darkness of evil and malice intentions, power born from evil, a sort of hell one might call it. Tsukiko breeds and grows in horrid moments, from lustful intentions to murderous rages; the darkness that fills one’s mind gives her more strength than an eclipse. Often times darkness is confused with hell, or damnation, in fact it is not in the slightest. Darkness stems from chaos, mysterious, illusions, and dreams. Tsukiko has created what she refers to as the pleasant scent of beyond.
*Temporal Myst*- Commonly referred to as night, the darkness that comes with the absence of light. Tsukiko and distort and restrict what happens during nighttime. As if a haze or mist came about during that time, a blanket it was called in ancient times. During night, she is at her strongest; she can twist and contort darkness, from blanketing an area in complete darkness, or lifting it and blocking out major sources of light, such as the moon or immense fires, the darkness becomes more than a blanket, without sources of light she is completely invisible, making her extremely dangerous, but also there is no light, and without light, you can’t see your own two hands in front of your face.
*Shadow Walking* As with all dark powers, comes the power of shadows, anyone with even a shred of ill will in their hearts, a bad thought, or a evil deed are vulnerable to this horrid spell, it is said to be pure of heart is one thing, but there aren’t people out there with pure minds now a days. Tsukiko can enter people’s shadows, see what there shadow sees, go where the shadow goes, even hear and eat what the shadow eats, everything that casts a shadow follows this logic, if you read a book, your shadow reads the same book.
*Dimensional Spot* Tsukiko uses her powers in a strange way; she can open dimensional spots that allow her to move easily between places where one spot is open vs. another. Contrary to popular belief, two spots must be open for the portal to work, she can leave several spots open on key areas, but she can open and close them on will. She usually uses this power to move distances, but offensively it make for a wicked time. She often opens a spot directly in front of her bow, so when she fires arrows they can come from all angles, and since it is darkness, they are not affected by reversing the spots to her.
*Murder* as with all cultures, crows and ravens are considered ill omens. Tsukiko uses that to her advantage, with a wave if the hand she can create a dozen crows and ravens, while they have no features, as they are completely made of shadows, they can be shot from her bow, or fly around seeking out her heart’s desire, they don’t attack people at all, they are shadows, but instead that attack a person’s shadow. The shadow takes damage, but the more damage it takes the more your mind is filled with horrible images, the most horrid nightmares flood your mind each time you are hit, and slowly get worse. Of course, the final step is insanity and madness, but you really do not care if it gets to there.
*Consumption* Using pure dark energy Tsukiko can form it into various objects, completely unaffected by gravity or friction, most of the time she uses it on something the size of a bowling ball, that whizzes around and skitters off objects until it hits its intended target, often times bouncing off hundreds of things to get at it.
*Mirage* Like all things, shadows are intangible, but not insensible, using shadows like one would fold paper, Tsukiko can create illusions of near grandest design, to a trained professional they are nothing more than illusions, but to someone concentrating on battle, or focusing on doing something, they can prove to be a deadly and fatal diversion, or fun, cause this is most likely one of her favorite tricks.
*Darkness can be molded in many shapes, forms, objects, and appearances’. It is used for trickery, misdirection, and general sleight of hand. It makes a mockery of all things just and righteous, using flashy gimmicks and fancy things to divert attention. Darkness is underhanded, sneaky, devious, and wicked; but it does not mean it is bad or evil, just a different way of doing things. It can trick ALL the sense, from hearing and taste, to reiatsu sensing and gauging attack strength; it belies using proper methods and following rules, in a sense it is the one thing that can go beyond the rules without breaking a single one of them. Chaos and anarchy are what it thrives in, but order is what it breeds and desires. Tsukiko is old enough to remember what she needs to remember; there are things she can do that aren’t listed here please remember darkness and shadows are her allies, and she walks in them daily, don’t confuse yourself into thinking this is all there is to her powers, it isn’t, not by a long shot; but I won’t god-mode either, so I think it’s fair.
History: If you want it I can give it...but several gods already don't have one and say "Old as time" I might as well try to give that excuse
