Tsukiko sat near the water, her long dress flowed elegantly in the gentle breeze, and she sat silently staring into the water, her own reflection shown back at her with as much radiance as ever. The pool was eerily calm, its depths held a deep and foreboding darkness to it. Her eyes gazed into the blackness of her own reflection, marveled by it; enchanted by her own accord it was simply marvelous. Her soft hair whispered as the breeze took each strand individually and caressed it only to lay it back down as elegantly as before. Her eyes almost held a soulful look to them, but it was not quite ready for a deeper meaning, and Tsukiko surly was not going to pursue it. Always trying to chase her own reflection, even now after all these years, her hand slowly slipped out, she did not even notice at her finger slowly moved towards the water. A prick and it was gone, her beauty distorted by the rippers a small touch made; for a minute she saw horror, she was not as beautiful as she once was. Her anger lashed out, her hand balled into a fist and she smashed the water, droplets flying in in complete disorder as she permanently destroyed that image in the water until it grew calm once again.
Once again Tsukiko was thrust back into reality, or at least as real as this moment in time was, she gazed across the pool for a moment before turning her head slightly, she reached into to her left and grasped at an arrow, she squeezed it until it snapped in half and she threw it aside, she was still a bit annoyed at being interrupted for another meeting just so she won’t have to get involved. Her face flashed for a moment, her eyes grew dark and dim, her mouth contorted into a twisted maniacal smile, and her flash flushed with such fury and evil intent; and then it was gone, just for a moment and it had passed. She turned her attention to her guardian, wherever she had gone. Her name was perfect for a manifestation of Tsukiko herself, selected out of hundreds, if not thousands of individuals all handpicked by others. Over the years, Tsukiko had done something no other God had done, no empire was built by business, no wealth and power, but one of faith and elegance. Tsukiko had created a religion, but not an ordinary religion, one where the highest caliber, was selected to be her personal manifestation on earth. The one chosen to represent her beauty and grace in physical form; but beauty and grace need not be enough; one also had to have power and wisdom to see that things were taken care of.
Tsukiko looked for her guardian for a moment, a shining moment of pride and doubt both wrapped in the same moment came over her, here was Tsukiko sitting basking in her own beauty, surely, her guardian must be doing the same, but where. Tsukiko called out, it was not loud or even soft, it was just word that came when she needed something, neither anger nor love, just a word. “Where is the elegant moon that gives night its beauty” a poem, or couplet it was not, but it was still filled with grace and beauty, simple sentence that described her guardian perfectly, the moon to the night sky. What would be night without a moon, and would the moon be without night.

A soft sigh could be heard, it wasn’t distant, as a beautiful woman walked towards her Goddess. She bowed, her beautiful purple hair sheltering her face. Everyone of The goddess of the moons religion was oddly beautiful. All admired, and they only admired their lovers, and one person above their lover. The goddess herself. Lady Tsukiko, the moon goddess. Misuki Yuri-Beautiful Moon Lilly was what her name meant. When she could be compared to, her skin being pale, almost a light purple. With golden eyes shining, they had speckles of light blue in her eyes. Long elf-like ears. She straightened herself up once she was five feet away from her goddess. Her hair being long.
She had purple markings under her eyes, and on her back, she wore armor with feathering to cushion her skin, which was just as soft as the feathers. Wearing a crescent chocker loosely around her neck. Every man wanted to be with her and every woman wanted to be her, which was why she was picked to be the head of Lady Tsukiko’s religion, which is why she was chosen out of thousands. She was wearing a skirt that went to her ankles, it was deep purple like her armor, emeralds shining on the belt of her dress. The armor was revealing in every way. Despite her beauty, she wasn’t vain, she knew she was beautiful but she didn’t think highly of herself, the only thing she was above was human scum. She frowned at the thought of them.
Destroying the beauty of the human world, destroying everything that was beautiful, they had freedom-they threw it away. They are blessed by the moon, they ignore it. Humans were the calendar children of scum.

Tsukiko’s eyes beheld a sight that most men would pay handsomely, and Tsukiko made sure that the men paid handsomely for, seeing Misuki was like witnessing a full moon on a star lit night, she had a commanding presence, her attitude was more of iron than of anything. Tsukiko liked her, she was the perfect fit, but sometimes she hated her, for she was the perfect fit. Normally Tsukiko did not bother to even inform her guardian of matters of godly concern, mainly because she felt they were not her concern either. However, this time it was different, the burning of the human world. Alas, Tsukiko might have something else to occur her time; she had grown bored as of late, she stirred, order had finally taken full shape in the world and it caused her to get restless. Her religion had already grown quite numerous, and paying homage to her once a day was more than enough to fill her coffers of vanity, her pride could not be shattered. Tsukiko turned and her heart leapt for a moment, an idea was sparked in that acclaimed wise head of hers. Her eyes twinkled like stars in the deep abyss, a brilliant flood of ideas and prospects flowed through her mind, this war would be perfect for her.
Tsukiko rose, perhaps it was her vanity that caused her to do so, but her voice became hollow, almost like she was speaking in a cavern, it echoed as if reaching every conceivable place on her body then bouncing back.
“Misuki, what do you think of rebuilding Earth in my image, the glory and beauty that would be moonlight and darkness. The Gods have come together and declared that a great war shall take place, and that we shall keep the balance. I think it is time we stir things up, let us remove the humans and other putrid creatures from our path and create a realm that is worthy of housing myself.” Her voice had risen to a fevered pitch; she had fully committed herself to this new reign of eternal night and bliss. She would have to shatter the heavens to do so, but the fun she would have; her dreams of an Earth where she was worshiped for all night and during the day hearts would weep and cry out for night once again. She thought to herself for a moment, a quiet thought of failure and disgrace, but it was removed with a even more putrid thought, that her dreams wouldn’t come to fruition, she would have to once again take the mantle of being the snake like she did so long ago, and once again she would make them pick the fruit of her desires.

She wasn’t shocked by that question, she stayed silent. “I will always be by your side, my beautiful Lady.” She said bowing in respect. And straightening her back. She had learned over the ages that Her goddess, had always felt better if she was called beautiful, not pretty and not cute. Those were insults to her. As Tsukiko rose, she went to her knee’s and stayed low her head on one of her knees. “Milady I enjoy your idea. To help you destroy such scum. I have been watching them in my less proper form, they make no sense. They kill their earth like parasites taking from it and hardly ever giving back.” She said quietly.
“ Unlike you, we give you our respect and tell you how you enjoy our words, and continue to show us your beauty.” She said. Of course she thought her goddess was Vain, that would be the best word to use for her goddess. But what could she do? “But you must also take in consideration.” she said standing up. “Some of your followers are human.” she said quietly. As she faced Her lady backing up into the lake until it was to her waist she enjoyed the cold water, still against her. She glanced at her reflection seeing how ugly it was compared to her goddess, she frown and went quiet. If her brother as alive, she closed her eyes. It was her fault.. the humans made her do it. Of course Tsukiko had known of her brother. She had told her goddess everything. Her goddess was the only one to see her cry, and the only one that she let touch her. She was just a doll to her goddess in her eyes: pawn.
She let her arms down as the water covered them, looking up towards the sky. “Your as beautiful as the sky, in my beautiful eyes, Milady..” she said softly. A poem verse. She had wrote poetry, and song.

Tsukiko smiled, it was as if time itself stopped, she touched her face to make sure it was still there, she was always afraid her beauty would shatter like glass, but over the countless years, it had not, but she still worried. Her face gazed up towards the sky, like the ever enchanted beauty, Tsukiko also looked at the sky as her own reflection, speckles of light in the night sky, the moon sometimes showed, its soft kindness, and others it hide its face for those unworthy. The time was ripe, as if the universe had decreed that it needed to be plucked and eaten, and Tsukiko wanted to be the one who ate it. Misuki was in the water, Tsukiko rarely stepped into water that was not given to her as a gift of good grace and awestruck. Her heard Misuki’s words, they had eaten away at her thought, taken it and turned it into something akin to making lemons into lemonade.
Her dark eyes grasped what Misuki was saying, it would become very problematic if she killed off all humans, and while they were worse for wear, she still wanted those voices that praised her. However, Tsukiko learned from history, she did not brush it off, she used it, because it had valid times, times where life itself suited her, dark ages they were called, but she learned to love those times. Her mind raced at the thought, but once again, it came up with a timeless classic.
“Misuki, we shall do what we have always done; the humans that follow us shall be dubbed chosen out of their kind and allowed to survive. We have used it before, and we shall un-doubly use it again. Our chosen people shall have to be warned, we shall have to put together a plan to make sure they survive what happens. Nevertheless, we have to put together a plan to entrap the other gods to make sure they become blinded by what they are seeing. No more shall we hide from the light of day, Misuki let us slowly and carefully move everything to Earth, our religion shall need a stronghold, and I think it is about time I visit Earth once again, and my people need to witness the birth of a new age of beauty and glory.” She said it with such a passion and exuberance that already shadows have started to creepy towards her, going against the rays of light and all pointing towards the goddess of darkness. She started to head towards Misuki, entering the water; she was neither cold nor warm, the water inked around her like soap. As she moved her hands rose up, and she spun back around. Goddess and guardian, there was nothing more beautiful in the world, and today would be the start of something extraordinary.

Mizuki stayed quiet. “I see Milady.” She said quietly, after a few moments of silence. “ I will tell them now. Is that all milady?” she asked quietly. As her hair curtained her back from sight, Her eyes glowing against the reflection of the water, it made her look.. breathe taking, it would seem not even she knew her beauty. Mizuki was simply Tsukiko’s Shadow. That’s what she would want. She wouldn’t want it any other way truthfully, she’d rather, when her and her lady walked into a room they stare at her lady instead of her. There was a fishing system to being near the gods, pretty much if they liked you they would cut off your head and sell you. Meaningless to a god, everything was . She can’t say she hated the god’s because of all Tsukiko had done for her. Made her that high in power. But she doubted the power Tsukiko had.
Look what I’ve built…it shines so beautifully- now watch as it destroys me. She thought of a rhyme she made. It wasn’t going to end well. She knew that much. She was simply a lap dog to Tsukiko and that’s all that mattered. She gave a smile to her Lady, it was one of those unknown smiles, you could feel it and it would make you feel like you just took your first breathe of life, but you would never know why she smiled. She took a step forward. Then stared at the sky. The calm before the storm…She quickly walked out of the water and bent down. “Do you wish for me to stay here with you milady or leave?” she asked quietly.

Post by Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada on Aug 12, 2008 17:01:08 GMT -5
Tsuna was walking around the Lake of the Holy Soul. It was one of his favorite places in the higher plain. It was usually peaceful around this area and Tsuna like to get some rest. Today he was pretty much awake so he just came to walk around a bit. This was the usual. He didn't go many days without coming here. He had a book in his hands. He was reading stories made by Edgar Allen Poe. The one he was currently on was called The Monkeys Paw. It was one of his favorite stories. He was reading the pages, adjusting his glasses because they were falling off, as he came up to Tsukiko. Tsukiko was the type of person who was vain and would do anything to get her way. He never really payed much attention to her. She seemed to be with her guardian was with her. They seemed to be discussing something. Knowing Tsukiko it probably wasn't something he wanted to get himself into. He never really liked the way she thought. In fact she was probably the only god he truly didn't like. He didn't hate her, but she wasn't the type of person he liked to be around. He decided to lessen the stress on himself that he would walk away.
Tsuna was the type to always avoid any unnecessary stress. He didn't like it very much, and then again who would. He always likes to find a way to have fun, and to him stress was not something he saw as 'fun'. However, their conversation caught his attention. He heard something about rebuilding earth in her image. This was not something he took kindly to. Tsuna was not afraid to admit she was beautiful, however, behind that mask was not someone he would want to world rebuilt as. However, Tsuna wasn't the type to stop her, atleast not t this point. However, he might as time would progress, that is if a need is shown. Tsuna never really did much that didn't mean much to him. Stopping her was one of those things. He was not really into playing the hero. He doesn't mind helping out however most of the things he does is for his own benefit. If he doesn't believe it will benefit him in any way he most likely won't co-operate.
He listened to the rest of their conversation. He got a pretty good understanding of what they were going to do. Tsuna used his spirit sight on her guardian. IT seemed she showed loyalty yet also doubt. She doubted her masters abilities. Tsuna couldn't blame her. Tuskiko wasn't the type he would picture as strong. However, she does seem on the vain and manipulative side. The bad thing is Tsuna thinks she most likely will get this job done. A smile appeared on his face. It was the type of smile that he gets when he see something that interest him. However, his interest was more on the side of stopping their plan. These type of things always made him smile. He needed some kind of entertainment and when it comes to the gods he always finds it somehow. "This is an interesting development if I were to say so myself" Tsuna said with a smile of his face from a good distance away. They couldn't hear what he was saying, he made it so his voice was low. The only way to hear it was to be next to him. Tsuna started on his way off. Plans of unraveling their plans were swirling around in his head. Tsuna had a sadistic smile on his face as he started off. "Excellent...."
